We will learn about a local belief involving throwing a small stone at the shrine’s wooden door. According to the tradition, if the stone remains on the door, the person's wish will come true. This local belief adds a special cultural dimension to the visit.
Dmanisi Sioni Cathedral is an important monument of medieval Georgian Christian culture. Visiting this historic site will remind us of Georgia’s rich past and the significant role Kvemo Kartli has played throughout the country’s history.
